Super Duplex Steel Valves are crafted from about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen additions, which provide outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. They boast a yield strength of around 550 MPa and a tensile strength of about 800 MPa, making them nearly twice as strong as regular stainless steel. With a PREN greater than 40, they effectively resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress cracking in tough environments. Additionally, they offer excellent fatigue resistance, high impact toughness, low thermal expansion, and superior weldability, making them the perfect choice for critical valve systems in oil & gas, desalination, and chemical processing plants.
