Super Duplex Steel Wire is composed of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, with small amounts of tungsten added for extra strength. It boasts impressive tensile strength (~800 MPa), yield strength (~550 MPa), and excellent toughness even at low temperatures. With a PREN greater than 40, this alloy ensures outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Its dual-phase austenitic-ferritic structure enhances fatigue resistance and dimensional stability compared to standard stainless grades. This makes Super Duplex wire a reliable choice for high-load and corrosive applications, leading to longer life, reduced maintenance, and excellent weldability.
