Super Duplex Steel Coils are composed of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, which together provide remarkable corrosion resistance and a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) exceeding 40. They boast a tensile strength ranging from 800 to 1,000 MPa and a yield strength of around 550 MPa, along with excellent impact toughness even in cryogenic conditions. The unique ferritic-austenitic microstructure ensures superior fatigue strength, low thermal expansion, and high hardness, making these coils ideal for extreme environments. They also show exceptional resistance to chloride stress cracking, seawater corrosion, and oxidation, guaranteeing long-term reliability and minimal maintenance in demanding sectors like oil, gas, and chemical processing.
