Duplex Steel Screws generally consist of 22–25% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, along with nitrogen additions, which provide outstanding corrosion resistance. Their dual-phase microstructure results in a tensile strength ranging from 620–900 MPa and a yield strength of about 450 MPa, making them nearly twice as strong as regular austenitic stainless steels. They also exhibit excellent fatigue strength, hardness, and resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion caused by chlorides. These screws maintain stability in temperatures from -50°C to 300°C. The combination of superior mechanical performance, high toughness, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking makes them perfect for marine and industrial fastening in extreme conditions.
