A286 Foil is mainly made up of iron, nickel, and chromium, with small amounts of molybdenum, titanium, and aluminum added to boost its strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy showcases impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of about 1,100 MPa, a yield strength of around 930 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. It also offers excellent creep and oxidation resistance up to 700°C, making it perfect for high-temperature settings.
