Super Duplex Steel S32750 is composed of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, which together provide remarkable corrosion resistance and strength. It features a tensile strength of around 800 MPa and a yield strength of about 550 MPa, making it twice as strong as austenitic stainless steels. With a PREN greater than 40, it offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. This alloy also boasts high fatigue strength, impressive impact toughness, and good weldability, along with a low thermal expansion rate, making it perfect for tough industrial environments and heavy-duty applications in corrosive settings.
