**AWS Class ERNiCu-7 MIG Wire** is a top-notch nickel-copper alloy (often referred to as Monel) MIG welding wire, specifically designed for joining and overlaying applications where outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are essential. This filler metal is mainly used for welding Monel alloys like Monel 400 and Monel R-405, as well as for connecting Monel to other nickel and copper alloys. ERNiCu-7 boasts exceptional resistance to seawater, salt, and a range of acidic and alkaline environments, making it perfect for marine, chemical processing, and offshore applications.
This wire ensures excellent arc stability, smooth feeding in MIG welding systems, and produces clean, porosity-free welds with minimal spatter. It includes added titanium to enhance weldability and prevent cracking, guaranteeing high-quality deposits even under tough service conditions. Typical shielding gases used are Argon or Argon-Helium mixtures.
